Security Mitigation
Helix governance is designed with strong security assumptions and mitigation strategies:
All critical actions (e.g., reserve updates, role changes) are delayed by timelocks to allow community oversight.
Governance contracts are upgradeable via proxy but only through approved governance proposals.
Admin roles are limited in scope and may be revoked at any time by a governance vote.
Permissionless execution of proposals ensures censorship resistance and decentralized enforcement
Helix governance enables HLX token holders to actively manage and evolve the protocol directly on the Base network. With fully on-chain voting, role-based access control, timelock-protected execution, and transparent proposal lifecycles, the system ensures that Helix remains community-driven, secure, and adaptable, without the complexity or fragmentation of cross-chain governance.
